The Rooted Recipes Project brings together four culinary artists & experience producers to curate a regenerative evening of conversation & storytelling over a shared meal. The family-style menu will explore ingredients and dishes across the AAPI diaspora, specifically Filipino, Lao, & Vietnamese food traditions. We are creating a space for our community to come together & nourish each other through the act of meal sharing and storytelling. Together we will experience AAPI history, issues, & resistance through the lens of food. Throughout the meal, we encourage you to reflect upon the ways food has played a role in Asian American identity & resistance.
