What does Kapwa mean to you? This arts showcase explores the Filipinx concept of Kapwa, or shared inner self, as a path to promoting community wellness! Celebrate the completion of a Kapwa mural and see behind the scenes of making the mural. Youth performers, visual artists, and mental health advocates amplify and explore the concept of Kapwa and creatively engage the Filipinx community to end stigma on mental health. Through our shared artmaking process, we encourage one another to practice sustaining and healing the self, understanding that process is innately tied to the wellbeing of others and the community.
