DALUYAN is a performance offering that culminates the 11-week embodied storytelling intensive facilitated by Sammay Dizon - an investigation of the ancestral memory within our corporeal being through movement, writing, and performance ritual. How do we cultivate a relationship of healing to our personal and intergenerational traumas in order to realize our most whole Self? How can we thereby access the inherent joy and ancestral resilience that already lives inside of us? Centering BIPOC womxn and non-binary experiences, participants will interweave their stories and cultivation of artistic expressions in service to our healing of Self, Lineage, and Community.
