APICC is proud to co-present TNT SideCaraoke as part of CHINATOWN: OUR FUTURE IS NOW! an outdoor showcase taking place at Portsmouth Square on May 30th, 2021 for the 24th annual United States of Asian America Festival: Forging Our Futures - SoMa & Chinatown.
APICC is also excited to showcase TNT SideCaraoke as part of the outdoor showcase at Kapwa Gardens in the SoMa on June 5, 2021 for USAAF 2021.
TNT SideCaraoke is an outdoor karaoke experience where participants can sit on a Filipino trike while singing popular songs in public. TNT Traysikel is a mobile public artwork that will function as a light show, karaoke machine and decorative stage all at once. For the USAAF events, it will be a site for celebrating the resilience of SOMA and Chinatown communities through singing and quirky humor. A collective sing-along couldn’t be more crucial at this time. We hope to sing together at TNT SideCaraoke!
