ABOUT THE ARTIST
SPULU is creative mover, storyteller, dance maker, streetwear fashion designer, and interdisciplinary performing artist from Chochenyo, Ohlone land (Oakland, California). SPULU comes by way of Tongan Pacific Islanders roots. They comes by way of navigators, creators, healers, and warriors. SPULU currently serves as the Associate Director for AileyCamp at UC Berkeley Cal Performance Arts in Education program and serves as a Event Specialist at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
