“Mabuhay, Friend!”
An art installation by Ramon Abad.
Mabuhay (pronounced “mah - BOO - high”) In the Filipino dialect of Tagalog, mabuhay can translate to “welcome” or “cheers to life!”
Funded by a San Francisco Artist Grant by the San Francisco Arts Commission, Ramon’s installation is a series of interactive sculptures or puppets that gallery visitors of all ages are welcome to gently touch and make move

Free admission for all ages. Kid-friendly art exhibit.
Opening Reception: October 7 Saturday 3-6pm
Co-sponsors of the reception will be the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center (APICC) with delish sweets by Marahuyo Confections and music to shake yo puppet bootie by DJ Bitesize.
