The Asian American Arts Network of the Bay Area serves individual artists and both fiscally sponsored and tax-exempt non-profit arts organizations located in the Bay Area's 9 County region. We currently provide services to artists and groups located in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda Counties.
The network will convene meetings to discuss issues facing the Asian American arts community, process and develop strategies towards positive change, and create a safe space for our community to gather and express ourselves.

ANGELA HAN: WEST OF PARADISE
Date: Saturday, November 19th, 2022
Time: 6-9 PM
Location: International Hotel Manilatown Center
The Opening Reception of “Angela Han: West of Paradise” will also coincide with the AAPI Bay Area Arts Convening co-presented by APICC.
Get ready for a night of storytelling and world-building as Angela Han regales the audience with Chinese myths that inspired her “West of Paradise” masterpieces. Attendees will be encouraged to use their imaginations to complete her stories and create a speculative paradise that bolsters AAPI creators! A series of engaging prompts exploring the state of AAPI women in the arts in the Bay Area and beyond will follow each story, allowing attendees the opportunity to bring into reality a “true” home for AAPI women artists where they are respected, celebrated, and whole-heartedly supported.
