APICC is proud to fiscally sponsor the upcoming film project Vanishing Chinatown: The World of The May’s Photo Studio (formerly "Trashed: The Lost World of May's Photo Studio"). Donations to the project can be made on this page through APICC as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.From the producers of Vanishing Chinatown:Vanishing Chinatown: The World of The May’s Photo Studio tells the story of hundreds of photographs serendipitously rescued from a San Francisco Chinatown dumpster. The work of The May’s Photo Studio documents an immigrant community becoming westernized, exploring themes of identity, family ties, and racially-based laws, specifically the Chinese Exclusion Act.
