

A literary evening with Lisa Asagi and R. Zamora Linmark. Writer and media artist Lisa Asagi debuts excerpts from The Hatchery Diaries, a new work about chickens, eggs, memory and melodrama, made possible by an Individual Artist Commission from the San Francisco Arts Commission. Novelist, playwright and poet R. Zamora Linmark will be reading poems from his first collection of poetry Slippery When English forthcoming from Hanging Loose Press in 2005, as well as excerpts from a novel-in-progress Alohalinda. Asagi and Linmark will also be reading their contributions to At Home In The World, Jessica Hagedorn's follow-up to Charlie Chan Is Dead.
