7th Annual United States of Asian America Festival
Asian American Dance Performances presents Pearl Anniversary: Celebrating 30 years of Asian American Dance
April 29-May 1, 8pm; May 2, 2pm
Asian American Dance Performances celebrates its 30th anniversary in a colorful series of performances by Bay Area choreographers. Each performance of the Pearl Anniversary Celebration will showcase five different choreographers, all of whom have contributed to the vibrant and complex tapestry of Asian American Dance.
AADP will host an Opening Night reception on Thursday, April 29, from 6:30-7:30 pm.
- April 29, 8 pm: Barangay Dance Co., Kimiko Guthrie, Eri Majima, Sachiko Nakamura, and Freesia Paclebar Huth.
- April 30, 8 pm: Manuelito Biag, Ledoh, Do Hee Lee, Sue Li Jue, and Claudine Naganuma.
- May 1, 8 pm: Anina Carmack, Aileen Kim, Ledoh, Alleluia Panis and Kyoungil Ong.
- May 2, 2 pm: Barangay Dance Co., Judith Kajiwara, Erin Mei Ling Stuart, Claudine Naganuma, and ChingChi Yu.
